2 inserts tomorrow...
It looks like another week for 2 inserts in the paper - one smartsource and one red plum should be inside. Let's hope it is a good week for coupons to get some cheap or FREE stuff!
A couple of great new coupons...
Coupons.com has a couple of high value coupons available right now. There is a $2/1 Lea & Perrins Worcestershire coupon and a $2/1 Heinz 57 coupon available right now. You can access these coupons through the orange colored widget on the left hand side of this page. Click on "See All Coupons" at the top and then scroll down and select all of the coupons you want to print.
Anytime you want to print coupons from coupons.com, you can access them directly through the orange widget on my sidebar.
I'd suggest printing these now as I'm sure they'll will be gone shortly. We should be able to get some cheap Worcestershire and Heinz 57 sauce in our near future!
(Thanks, Hip2Save!)

Rain checks are your friend!
When a store is out of a product, which can happen frequently with good sales, make sure to ask for a rain check. Rain checks are usually good for one month from the date of issue and get you the sale price once the item comes back into stock.
Last week I was at King Soopers and they were out of blackberries. When I checked out the cashier informed me that they were subbing organic blackberries for the same price. To my disappointment they were also out of organic ones, so I got a rain check instead. The beautiful thing is that Sprouts had blackberries on sale as well last week so I was still able to get blackberries for a good price and I now have a rain check to use to get the good price at King Soopers within the next month. I don't have to pay $4.99 a container, I can use my rain check to get them for $1!
Rain checks can also be good when you need some time to get more coupons. If your store is out of stock ask for a rain check and you just bought yourself another month to get the coupons you want to use with that sale.
Do you regularly ask for rain checks if items are out of stock? If not, get in the habit and save yourself some more money!
Aeropostale $10 off $10 purchase!
Wanna see what I got for free?
Thanks to Swagbucks I got the above cast iron skillet completely FREE! I redeemed some of my Amazon gift cards I earned through Swagbucks to get it for nothing out of pocket - including shipping! The best part about the Amazon gift cards you can earn through Swagbucks is that you can stack them to order a more expensive items to save as much money as you can out of pocket.
I know I keep talking about Swagbucks, but it is only because it is super easy and you can earn completely FREE stuff for doing what you already do. Get rewarded for searching the internet!
Today is also Mega Swag Buck Friday which means the odds are better that you will get larger value swagbucks when searching which also means you can get rewards faster!
I am in the process of getting rid of all of my non-stick cookware due to health concerns I have about the Teflon and other non-stick coatings used on them and wanted to try cast iron out. Cast iron is a thrifty cooking option as these pans are not that expensive, the skillet above was only $18.97 on Amazon for the 12" version and it comes pre-seasoned. They are also pretty easy to care for and will last forever if cared for correctly.
I've cooked in it a couple of times and am LOVING it so far. My next purchase is probably going to be a cast iron dutch oven.
For more information on Swagbucks, see my post here. If you want to sign up for a Swagbucks account, go here.

Klean Kanteen Sale
In honor of Earth day, Klean Kanteen is offering 25% off of their brushed stainless steel bottles, but the insulated ones are not included. Use code KKEARTH at check out to get this deal through April 26th.
I have several Klean Kanteen bottles and really like them. They are 100% stainless steel except for the tops and are super easy to keep clean. They have a wider mouth than most metal bottles which makes them easier to clean and put ice into. They come in many sizes from small enough for your little ones to use, all the way up to 40 oz.
Invest some money upfront to save money and the planet in the long run! I don't buy bottled water ever anymore and use a water filter at home to fill it up. I take my bottle everywhere I go!

Walmart & Internet Coupons
As I mentioned before, Walmart has not always been accepting internet printed coupons. The Walmart on 136th & I-25 has signs posted that they are no longer accepting internet printed coupons at all due to a large amount of coupon fraud. Just wanted to pass along this information to everyone so you are not caught by surprise if and when they decline to take these coupons.

Make sure you are checking your receipts!
Just a quick reminder to check your receipts and pay close attention when checking out at the store. In the last few weeks I've had a few issues with products not ringing up the correct price or the cashier missing a coupon or two when I've been checking out. It is easiest to resolve these issues if you catch them as they are happening, especially if it is a coupon being missed.
Some stores, like King Soopers, have price accuracy guarantee. If a product rings up the wrong price, they will refund your money and let you keep the item! Some stores just adjust the price to the correct price, but is definitely worth your time to keep on top of these when shopping. I cringe just thinking about how much money everyone overpays because of these inaccuracies not being caught and fixed.
I always approach these situations in a really friendly way as to not burn any bridges at my stores and with their employees.
Thanks for the reminder about this Michele!

Free Reusable Bag at Target - Today Only!
In honor of Earth Day or Earth Week as it is now being celebrated Target teamed up with Tide, GE and Coca-Cola to give away free reusable bags with a purchase today only (Sunday April 18th). They are giving away a total of 1.5 million bags. Can you imagine if everyone uses these bags, how many plastic bags we are saving from landfills?
Just head on over to your closest Target and make a purchase to receive one of these bags, though quantities are limited to what is on hand, so I'd get there earlier in the day if you really want or need one! There will be no rain checks given and there is a limit of one per person.
(Thanks for the reminder, Bridgett!)
