Here's a recap of the deals we discussed on the show this morning...
Restaurant.com is having an 80% off sale through tomorrow, Thursday March 30th. This makes $25 gift certificates to 100's of local restaurants as low as $2! Also, get a $10 Restaurant.com eGift card for each order placed. Head over here to purchase your gift certificates and use code TASTY at check out to receive this discount! Make sure to check the fine print on each offer as they vary by restaurant.
Also, if the restaurant you were hoping to get a certificate for is sold out, you can purchase a generic Restaurant.com gift certificate using the code and then trade it in at a later date for the restaurant you really want! You do all of this online in your account and it is super easy - this is usually what I do so that I don't have to pick a restaurant ahead of time!
Tangled was released on DVD/Blu-Ray on Tuesday and you can print a $5 off blu-ray combo pack coupon through Disney Rewards here. Target has this combo pack for $24.99 making it $19.99 after $5 coupon and it comes with a DVD copy, Blu-ray copy, 3D Blu-ray copy and a digital copy as well as a FREE Tangled little golden book with purchase of the combo pack.
Bloomingdale’s is having their Friend’s & Family Sale through April 3rd which is a discount of 20% off online. Use code SPRINGFF for online purchases. FREE shipping on orders of $150 or more.
Denver Dumb Friends League is offering all cats/kittens and dogs/puppies for an adoption fee of only $50 through June 30th. This adoption fee includes spay/neutering, initial vaccinations, microchip, registration and FREE visit with participating veterinarian. What a great way to add a new addition to your family!
Get a 1 year subscription to National Geographic for only $10 through Amazon. Regularly priced at $72, this is a great deal!
Finally, there are tons of daily deal sites out there like Groupon, Weekly Plus (I love this site as the deals usually last more than one day so you have time to actually think about it before purchasing), Mamapedia (I really love this site as they give back 5% of your purchases to the school of your choice!), Eversave and Savvy Source and it is super easy to go way overboard spending money on all of the great deals they offer. I want to encourage you to use these websites but stick to things that you already use or need or have really been wanting to try. For example, if you are looking to have your carpets cleaned then wait for a great carpet cleaning deal to come across your inbox and take advantage of it. If you have been wanting to get a massage, then by all means take advantage of one of the many massage offers that these sites offer. Use these sites to save money on things you already do or use, and don't go crazy just because all the deals seem so good! I love these websites and use them as a great tool to save lots of money on products or services my family already uses!
If this is your first time visiting my site look around for tons of other money saving ideas and tips. Some of my favorite tips are here, here, here and here. Please feel free to contact me directly at thriftymomincolorado@gmail.com with any questions you may have after looking around the site!
