Welcome CW2 Daybreak Viewers!
Sorry for the really long one paragraph, I am having issues with my publishing program! Here's a recap of the deals we talked about this morning... If you are a procrastinator, like I am, then you may still need to get your taxes done! TurboTax and H & R Block are both offering a completely FREE download of their basic federal tax filing software. Head over here for TurboTax and over here for H & R Block. Both programs allow you to prepare, print and e-file your basic federal return completely FREE! The Melting Pot restaurant is celebrating National Cheese Fondue Day and you can snag a FREE cheese fondue between April 11th and 14th. Contact your local location for more details about this promotion and to make your reservation. What a fun date night! If you sign up to be a member of Petsmarts completely FREE Petperks account, you can snag a $5 printable coupon good toward anything in the store, with no minimum purchase. This coupon could make for some cheap or FREE food, toys or any other pet item you may be in need of! Head over here to create your account. Avon is having a great sale online. They are clearancing out some of their products for up to 80% off! You can also get FREE shipping if you use code RCTAVON at checkout. Some deals worth mentioning are: Lip Balms 2 for $1.25, Makeup from $2, Skincare from $3 and fragrances are buy one, get one FREE! Head over here to check out the selection! The 4 metro area Border's bookstores that are slated to close (Aurora, Boulder, Greeley, and Littleton locations) are in their final stages of clearancing out their merchandise. Everything is now 50-70% off at these locations. Rumor has it that they may be closing their doors within the next week, so head over soon to score some deals on books, movies, and music. Finally, there are tons of daily deal sites out there like Groupon, Weekly Plus (I love this site as the deals usually last more than one day so you have time to actually think about it before purchasing), Mamapedia (I really love this site as they give back 5% of your purchases to the school of your choice!), Eversave and Savvy Source and it is super easy to go way overboard spending money on all of the great deals they offer. I want to encourage you to use these websites but stick to things that you already use or need or have really been wanting to try. For example, if you are looking to have your carpets cleaned then wait for a great carpet cleaning deal to come across your inbox and take advantage of it. If you have been wanting to get a massage, then by all means take advantage of one of the many massage offers that these sites offer. Use these sites to save money on things you already do or use, and don't go crazy just because all the deals seem so good! I love these websites and use them as a great tool to save lots of money on products or services my family already uses! If this is your first time visiting my site look around for tons of other money saving ideas and tips. Some of my favorite tips are here, here, here and here. Please feel free to contact me directly at thriftymomincolorado@gmail.com with any questions you may have after looking around the site!
